July 2023. I was sitting at my kitchen table drowning in the exact kind of work I absolutely hate.
Documenting every single step of our due diligence process for land deals in Florida.
Dotting i's. Crossing t's. All the little details that make me want to scream.
But honestly, it was always something: administrative work, manual processes, tasks that ate up hours and had nothing to do with the parts of business I actually loved.
And to make everything just perfect, my personal life was throwing curveballs left and right.
I was emotionally drained, physically exhausted, and mentally at my breaking point.
Then this guy David kept pinging my phone. "Callan, watch this ChatGPT webinar. Watch this ChatGPT webinar."
I finally caved. Whatever. Fine. Let me look at the webinar.
The first demo he did changed everything.
He takes a Loom video of himself describing a process. Takes the transcript. Drops it into ChatGPT. Types one prompt: "You're a world-class technical documentation writer. Turn this into a perfectly formatted SOP."
And it just... spat it out.
He made a few tweaks and that was it.
The thing about me is I love shortcuts. I always have.
It's why I was obsessed with finding lead generation methods beyond direct mail in the land investing space. It's why I can't stand things that take forever. It's why I'm always hunting for hacks, for efficiencies, for the faster way.
And that one demo opened up a door I didn't even know existed.
